My Story
I was in Kindergarten when I played my first game in the
upward league, to be honest I was so scared of the ball and getting hit. I went
on to start playing in rec leagues for the next several years. I had no
intention on moving into a travel league till I was approached by a coach at the
ETSU soccer day camp when I was 12. I again did not have any intentions on making
this kind of move. My mom was contacted again by the coach and she said again
how she really wanted me to come and play for their league. We decided to go
for it and let’s just say my love and passion for soccer grew leaps and bounds.
I noticed how I was progressing and getting better every day. The friends I have
made during this time in my life are friends I know I will have forever. These
girls to me are more than friends they are my sisters. My mom always told me
when the game stops being fun then we would stop but even after 10 years I am
still having a complete blast. I am most definitely looking forward to the future
and seeing where this beautiful game takes me.
