About Me

Hi, my name is Delaney Belding, I am a freshman attending Herbert Henry Dow High school in Midland, Michigan this year.

I have played softball since I was 4 years old and I pride myself in being a strong hitter and very well rounded player with experience at every position on the field. I began playing travel softball at age 9 playing 10u. I've been playing travel softball for 6 years now. I currently play with the 16u Midland Lady Explorers. I bat left handed and throw right handed. I’m a 5’5 starting pitcher (RHP) wearing #13. My secondary position is shortstop. I've been pitching for 5 years and I've been receiving pitching lessons for 4 years. I’ve had experience playing anywhere and everywhere on the field. I love working to get better at softball and trying to reach the best of my abilities.

As for college softball I'd love to play at the D1 level and I strive to be a D1 athlete. I'd love to play shortstop but I would play anywhere I'm needed. I love softball and I hope to continue to play for another four years after high school in college, another four years to get to the best of my abilities, another four years to play the sport I love.
