I have been playing football since I was five years old. At Trinity Catholic, I am the left offensive guard. I’ve been on our varsity team since my Freshman year and I am a starting player. I am the captain of our offensive line. I bench press 285, power clean 250 and squat 350. I don’t miss work outs, film, or practices. I am a leader on my team and I take my responsibility, as a lineman, for the safety of our quarterback and players very seriously. I consider myself to be focused and able to understand and execute the plays that are expected of me. I also participate on my school’s Track Team, throwing Shot Put and Discus. As a student athlete, I am diligent about my school work. My unweighted GPA is 3.8 and my weighted is 4.2. I recently received the English & Math awards for my grade. I scored 1150 on my SAT. I plan to take it again on to improve my score. I am a member of the National Honor Society. Last year, I volunteered for over 40 community service hours in my town. I hope to go to a college in the SE; however, I am keeping my options open. I am looking to find a good balance between the classroom and the field. I would like to pursue a university that has an excellent reputation for their engineering and business programs. Ideally, the athletic program will allow me to remain strong, gain strength and continue to learn and improve my football skills.
