My name is Arquis Laurent Ward, also known as "Hummer". I am a senior at Auburndale High School in Florida, graduating in 2022. I am on the Varsity Football team and on the Weightlifting team.  My academic interests include Math & Science and I am leaning towards a career in the medical field. Lately, I have been thinking about working in the neurology field.

My hobbies include weightlifting and boxing and I enjoy listening to music, fishing, swimming, playing video games, and researching ideas in my spare time. I have a part-time job at a local grocery store and I also enjoy helping people and volunteering when possible.
 
As the eldest with 4 brothers, I enjoy spending time with them while visiting new places. When I was an amateur boxer, I loved traveling to the events each weekend with my grandmother. Now, my favorite activity is going to the beach. I really enjoy swimming!

I am excited to be a senior; can't wait to graduate! As I close out my last year of high school, I am preparing to enter into my first year of college, although I am already taking college classes.  I know it will take a lot of focus, dedication, and hard work to be a successful college student. I feel I am on the right path of finalizing the steps needed to be just that.
