athlete. From the time I started school I tested so high I was immediately promoted to the first grade but testing in some errors on a third grade level.
In middle school I was invited to become a member of the
Junior National Honor Society
and the
Duke Tip
program.
I have played organized basketball and soccer since I was 5 years old. Starting both careers at the local Fulton YMCA. From there I have played basketball at D1 aka CP3 and with the Zoom AAU team. Since my 9th grade year I have played high school basketball on JV. On my high school team I am a started and leader on and off the court. I have gained the respect of not only my coaches but my peers.
I have also played as a soccer player on the Varsity team since my 9th grade year.
Even with taking AP classes, honors level and advance Math I am still able to dedicate time to my sports and my extra activities. I am a member of Crosby Scholars and AAMPED (African American Males Pursue Educational Dreams) though these programs I am able to stay connected with my community and receive great information about college and preparing for my future.
