My Story
I am the type of person who gives everything I have to the things I love. I began playing volleyball when I was 10 years old and ever since then I do not remember a day that I didn’t think about this game. This game has become a big part of who I am, and I cannot picture my life without it. My volleyball career started off with my mom and I going to our neighborhood park's beach volleyball court every night in the summer before 6th grade so I could make the "A" team. I’ve since traded that beach volleyball court out for an indoor gym that I am in anytime I get the opportunity.

Playing at a collegiate level is my ultimate goal, and I plan to continue putting in the work in order to accomplish this goal. My grit and work ethic has been built by the fact that landing on the top teams has never been easy for me, but I am a firm believer in the saying "hard work will always beat talent, when talent doesn't work hard". I have always fought uphill battles for my spot and that’s what makes playing feel all the more worth it.

I have a deep understanding of the game; I have played nearly every position on the court except middle, this is what makes me a great setter. A good setter understands how the game works; a great setter understands how the game flows. I am an extremely coachable player that welcomes a coach's corrections or suggestions to the way I am playing. Then not only do I change it, but I make sure I understand the reasoning behind their corrections.

As I mentioned before, volleyball is a large part of my life, and I give my all to this game. I have gotten to where I am now, not because I have always been the most talented, but because I have always been willing to put in the work in where others wouldn’t.
