My story. I grew up in the inner city of winnipeg where I would be surrounded by gangs, Violence, and other bs that poverty would entail. Days going to school hungry and not being able to bring lunches to days we had soccer games (I played in grade 4) and stayed over lunch break. Drugs and alcohol were a big part of my childhood aswell being surrounded by it alot. Because of this I matured quickly, grew up fast, and realized from an early age I didn't want this life. That alone was when my work ethic and motivation started my journey in wanting to do something with athletics. As I grew up I would put in work to be better at school and work on myself. It wasn't until grade 9 where athletics really popped for me, being on the JV basketball team and joining the Tec Voc Football team for its first year to return to the WHSFL (Winnipeg Highschool Football League). That's where it officially started. After a semifinals playoff run in our first year I won the AAA division Rookie of The Year and was named a Wpg Blue Bombers Blue and Gold Showcase U16 All-Star. I still am doing well in school as I finished my sophomore year with a 91.5% grade average (3.66 GPA) And only had one grade under 80 (English, 70). That brings me to now, with a huge motivation going into my Junior Year with my dad's tragic passing thus summer. I'm ready to play. Ready to get recruited. Ready to put in work. I'm ready for it all
