My Story
Sports have been a large part of my life throughout my childhood and teenage years. I have tried just about every sport, but soccer quickly became the one I enjoyed the most and showed the most skill in. My dream has always been to play collegiate soccer, and I still hold this to be true. There are many reasons I would like to continue my soccer career. I have an obvious love for soccer, but I have met many of my friends through soccer, and I love the team aspect of the sport because it feels like I belong to a second family. Even when I am not playing soccer, I greatly enjoy watching soccer games, whether it is my own team, a local college or university, or even professional soccer games on TV. I feel as though watching soccer helps me become a better player because I get to see people who have trained at different levels. When I am not playing soccer or trying to improve my soccer skills, I spend a lot of time doing school work and take great pride in my schoolwork, as well as my grades. In school, I am involved in multiple AP classes, International Baccalaureate (IB) classes, and college-credit classes. Though school work is not the thing I want to be doing most evenings, I realize its importance, and I strive to be the best student-athlete I possibly can be. Besides school and soccer I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. They help keep a balance with soccer and academics. I am looking forward to continuing my soccer career and would love to learn more about your team and program!
