When I was 4, I was able to admit to my mom that I really hated ballet. This was scary because my 5 year old sister loved it and I was scared my parents wanted me to love it also. Thankfully, my parents said “no problem, let’s try something new!” and signed me up for the Barbie Bandits soccer team. I loved soccer from my very first practice and my passion for the sport has only grown over the years. I was always the tall kid, so my coaches started me in the goal pretty early, but also allowed me to play in the field to develop my foot skills. As I grew up, I really embraced the goalkeeper position and have worked very hard to be the best I can be. As a 4 year team captain for my ECNL team, I strive to be the kind of player that is early to practice to prepare myself and my team, work hard during every practice because that’s where my skill is developed and demonstrate leadership on and off the field. I know I want to play college soccer at the highest level I can and I believe that playing ECNL soccer is preparing me for that. I have been honored to be selected for the ECNL Conference Selection Program TX Conference for 2019 and 2020, US YNT Identification Center and US Club Soccer id2 National Training Camp. I am eager to start the recruiting process and find a great college to continue my education and my athletic aspirations.
