My Story
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Phinehas Browne I am a 6’1 170, CO’ 2026 student athlete at Oakland Technical High School. I specialize in the 400meter with a pr of 49.09 but I also run the 200 meter, 100 meter,4x100 relay and the 4x400 meter relay. I am a flexible person and willing to do anything to get an opportunity to be apart of your program. I am reaching out to showcase my work ethic and ability to push through adversity on the collegiate level.
I have been running Track&Field since the age of eight years old therefore I am very committed to my craft and have achieved running on the international black wing team who went to Daegu, South Korea in the summer of 2023 via(https://www.postnewsgroup.com/oakland-pal-athletes-win-at-international-childrens-games-in-south-korea/), I have also recently competed at USATF junior Olympics in Houston Texas in the 400m and the 4x100, another big time meet was at the 2024 state meet in Clovis, Ca.Soon to kick off my junior season I will be competing at the USATF’s indoors Reno meet from Dec 26-28.
Academically, I maintain a 3.4 gpa and have had a life long interest in becoming a physical therapist in the future so I am dedicated to excelling both on the track and as an individual in the classroom.Heading into my 11th grade year, being apart of the health academy at Oakland Tech I plan on taking Ap world history and a college course for AFRAM-16.
